About The Day

Oasis Day is a gentle, inclusive one‑day grief retreat for people who are bereaved and for the professionals who support them. Through guided sessions, creative activities, and quiet spaces, the day is designed to help you better understand grief, find practical self‑care strategies, and connect with others who’ve experienced loss.

What To Expect

  • Facilitated small‑group sessions and gentle workshops (mindfulness, creative  expression, legacy and memory work)
  • Practical conversations: “Is my grief normal?”, managing triggers, compassionate listening
  • Activities: stone painting, make-a-self‑care box, yoga/meditation (light/optional)
  • Resource booths and in‑person support from local grief and bereavement organisations
  • Morning tea, light lunch and afternoon refreshments provided
  • Quiet space for reflection with comfortable seating and greenery
